Ocean City Stratton & Terstegge Co. Trade Reel "STRATCO" Louisville KY. Level Wind Circa-1949. This is a Mint reel I doubt has ever held line or been fished. This mirror finished reel is extremely Fast, Smooth and the level wind flies side to side. The rear plate mounted clicker is strong and loud and the spring loaded tensioners in the rear bearing covers act like a ABL and work great. Ocean City didnt really make many trade reels in casting reel sizes so this is scarce. Stratton & Terstegge was a big time maker of metal fishing tackle boxes and accessories for many of the large tackle companies starting in the first part of 1900s. Old Pal was one company they made tackle boxes for. Great reel with some cool History.
